Join Karolina York as a Print Designer creating prints for the world's most exciting fashion brands.
At Karolina York we're looking for a talented and creatively driven Textile Print Designer to join our Waterloo studio in Sydney.
We are a design-led textile print studio working across international fashion, creating original prints for brands across Australia, the UK, Europe and the US.
WHY KAROLINA YORK? You'll be joining a small, creative team where your ideas genuinely have an impact. You'll have the opportunity to work across international fashion markets, see your designs presented to leading brands around the world and develop your skills across the full textile print design process.
We're Looking For Someone Who
- Has a strong textile and surface design portfolio
- Has 2+ years experience working for a fashion brand or print studio
- Has excellent Photoshop skills, creating all prints in repeat from scratch
- Has an instinct for colour, composition, scale and print
- Is constantly looking at trend resources, fashion, art, interiors, culture, vintage textiles and visual references for inspiration
- Can create original artwork, not just manipulate existing imagery
- Has a strong eye for detail and understands production-ready artwork
- Is commercially minded without losing their creative edge
- Works quickly, independently and collaboratively within a team environment
