Maria Victoria Comas is a Buenos Aires-based graphic designer and illustrator working across children's illustration and surface pattern design. She holds a degree in Graphic Design from FADU (Universidad de Buenos Aires) and has developed a parallel practice in illustration since 2009 through self-directed study. She works remotely on a freelance basis.

The portfolio features organic, nature-inspired work in watercolor and mixed media - botanical motifs, floral compositions, and illustrated pattern layouts with warm, expressive palettes. The portfolio features stationery and product mockup contexts. The 2026 picture book project uses a mixed technique combining painted papers, wax crayons, and digital illustration, reflecting a textured, handcrafted aesthetic.

Graduated in Graphic Design from FADU-UBA. Worked in design studios and in-house design roles 2004-2013. Served as JTP (teaching assistant) in Art History at UCES 2009-2019. Transitioned to independent freelance illustration and graphic design from 2013, developing watercolor and children's illustration skills through self-directed study, online courses, and workshops. Currently developing a children's picture book with Pez Menta editorial (2026).

The portfolio features botanical and organic surface designs - florals and plant motifs executed in watercolor with warm colour palettes.
