Golden Lady Company SpA is the holding structure for one of Europe's largest hosiery and legwear groups. Founded in 1966 in Castiglione delle Stiviere (Mantua province, Italy) by brothers Arnaldo and Nerino Grassi, who left the family milling business to establish a women's hosiery manufacturer initially targeting the German market. Through the 1980s and 1990s the group expanded via acquisition: SiSi, then Omsa (women's hosiery, 1992), Kaiser-Roth Corporation (No-Nonsense and Hue brands, US market), and Filodoro SpA with brands Filodoro, NY Legs, and Philippe Matignon (2003). In 2016, the retail division (Goldenpoint) was separated as Goldenpoint SpA. The group currently produces over 400 million pairs annually, exported to 70 countries, from 14 factories in Italy, Serbia, and the USA, employing approximately 7,000 people. Oniverse is the current group holding name for what was formerly Golden Lady Company SpA (per source_file: oniverse.md).
No named creative director or design identity is documented in the available source. Design investment is inferred from brand positioning - Philippe Matignon (prestige) implies higher surface design specificity; Golden Lady, SiSi, and Filodoro operate at mass-market surface standards.
The group operates a vertically integrated production chain: yarn spinning to finished product packaging. Two dedicated spinning plants are part of the structure. Seven Italian factories, two in Serbia, four in the USA. In 2012, the Faenza factory was sold to ATL Group for industrial reconversion. Brands by segment:

Market leader in Italian hosiery; significant market shares in key European markets. Brand portfolio spans mass/value (No-Nonsense, Hue), mid-market (Golden Lady, SiSi, Filodoro), and premium (Philippe Matignon) segments. International distribution covers 70 countries. Scale (400M+ units/year) positions the group as one of the largest legwear manufacturers globally.
Hosiery and legwear are surface-design-active product categories in which pattern, texture, and colour applied to knitted structures define the commercial product:
