Van Cleef & Arpels is a French luxury jeweller founded in 1906 at 22 Place Vendôme, Paris - the address that remains its flagship boutique. The founding partnership united Alfred Van Cleef (a Dutch diamond-cutter) with the brothers of his wife Estelle Arpels: Charles Arpels joined at founding; Louis Arpels (the youngest brother) joined in 1913.
